The Mill and farm buildings are listed as a Category A group and are cited as being of International significance. The Knockando Mill Company has been trading for 25 years and continues to manufacture high quality tweeds, rugs and blankets.
The aim of the Trust is not only to restore the building and machinery, but also the textile manufacturing skills and knowledge which would otherwise be lost when the current owner retires.
