Tomintoul Museum
Housed next to the Tourist Information Centre in the Square, the Museum was founded following the Tomintoul bicentenary exhibition in 1976. It includes reconstructions of a farmhouse kitchen and of the old village smithy. There is also a display on peat cutting and the main exhibition area includes some fascinating material on local history and wildlife. A range of publications are on sale.
