Findhorn Centre & Icehouse
Heritage Centre:
The Centre explores Findhorn's past from
prehistoric times to the present day. There are displays detailing
information about the village's role as Forres's sea port and
Findhorn's lost port, and natural history of the area. There are also
historic photographs and texts.
Icehouse:
Explore fascinating
underground arched chambers, built over 150 years ago to store ice for
packing salmon on the way to London. The vast chambers are now used to
display all aspects of the net salmon fishing industry in the Moray
Firth.
