Burghead Headland Trust
Burghead Headland is the site of what was the largest Pictish promontory fort in Scotland.
The Visitor Centre ( the round white building on the headland) run entirely by volunteers, is housed in the former 19th century Storm Signal which commands unrivalled views of the Moray Firth. The Centre takes visitors through the history of Burghead from about 400AD to present time.
